Welcome to ACF
The clubhouse of Aero Club Fivelingo is a cozy clubhouse. In the course of 2018, the old wooden building was demolished and replaced by a more modern building.
We have had a lot of fun with our clubhouse, both during warm sun-drenched days, as well as during heavy rain or cold winter days. In winter, members can enjoy a cozy cup of coffee by a warm stove to warm up.
The club was founded in 1978 and now has about 50 members.
There are active flights throughout the year.
Especially on Saturday and Sunday, but also on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons it can be very busy on the field. In principle, daily flights are possible from 10 a.m. to sunset.
Membership of the club ACF:
When you join our club you can fly as often as you want. You must have a pilot's license before you can fly alone. Learning to fly is completely free. If you are a member of the club you can also participate in various activities completely free of charge. For example, every year we try to organize a Snert afternoon, an ACF club day with a large barbecue and much more. In winter we organize indoor flying at a location nearby.
This model flying club does more! There are experienced pilots who can help and advise you with the purchase of equipment and building model airplanes. This model flying club also has flight instructors who teach you how to safely handle and fly a model airplane and/or helicopter.
Instructors are also available for the multicopter (or drone as this type is often called).
At the club there is always a model airplane with which you can get acquainted with flying under the guidance of an experienced model flight pilot. You can also obtain a model pilot's license at the ACF. With this one can also fly at other model flying clubs.
